Limited Edition 2013 OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Brown Dial (Ref. 311.30.42.30.13.001)

 

The Omega Speedmaster Professional is by far one of our most favorite Chronographs. The Speedmaster has an incredible history starting with automotive racing moving into flight and eventually to NASA and the U.S. Space Program.  There are many subtle differences within the vintage Omega Speedmaster range of references that make them all slightly unique and different.

This Limited Edition Omega Speedmaster Professional “Brown Dial” Ref. 311.30.42.30.13.001 has been said to have only been produced for the Japanese market and is quite sought after due to its unique look and very limited production. The handsome and unique brown dial is a wonderful purposely and tasteful modern nod by omega to the “Tropical” dials that are commonly found in the early vintage Omega Speedmaster’s. The Speedmaster Ref  311.30.42.30.13.001 is also what is commonly referred to by Omega Speedmaster enthusiast as the “Sapphire Sandwich” due to the fact that the domed crystal is made from sapphire and the case back has been executed in sapphire ” aka exhibition case back” which allows the beautiful Manual Wind, Omega Cal. 1863 moment to be viewed through the case back when looking at the back of the watch.  

The Speedmaster looks great on the Bracelet as well as a handcrafted Leather strap. It is one of our favorite Chronographs due to its timeless design and functionality. Its versatility to be paired with the most formal and the most casual of wardrobe also makes the Speedmaster a good choice for the first vintage Timepiece and or a classic daily driver.

CASE & Bracelet

Both the case and Bracelet are in like new condition showing very little wear or usage. The omega bracelet shows zero stretch and has very faint markings on the clasp from light wear.

DIAL & HANDS

The handsome chocolate brown dial is in flawless and original condition as are the lume plots and hands.

Accessories

None. The watch was recently serviced and is running at COSC Spec backed by a 1-year warranty on movement.
