The Iwc ref. R1160A featuring the cal. 8541 Automatic movement (cal. 854 without Date complication) is the last of a generation of in-house movements from Iwc. After the cal. 8541 Iwc began outsourcing for their movements to ETA and Jaeger LeCoultre. The Iwc in-house movement Dress watches ranging from the early 1950s to the mid-1970s with the Iwc patented Pellaton Automatic winding system is beloved by collectors and IWC enthusiasts alike.

The square, cushion-style 18k yellow Gold case is extremely good-looking on the wrist. The case itself is in wonderful condition, showing only light signs of use. The domed square crystal gives a charming height to the watch and is in excellent condition. The watch will come on a 2pc handmade Leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The curved silver sunburst dial with Gold stick markers is both simple and tasteful. The dial shows is in very impressive condition showing long minimal signs of aging. The original Gold hands are in exceptional condition as well.
