What is a Buckley dial? These excellent Roman numeral marker dials differentiate themselves as true collector items with painted numerals as opposed to the more commonly seen applied marker, along with matching Black hands. The Buckley dials were made famous after a Rolex collector coined the term several years back.
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee-shirt. The Rolex Datejust ref. 16013 is a transitional reference as it retains an acrylic crystal similar to earlier vintage Datejusts, but the movement is a Rolex cal. 3035 which possesses the “Quick-Set” date function which comes in handy when needing to quickly adjust the date.
