1971 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date (Ref. 1501) Radial Dial

This is a Rare and very unique 1971 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date that is not commonly seen. As you may notice the dial is quite different as the minute marks aka minute track extend into the center of the dial much further than normally seen on similar references. This dial is commonly referred to as the radial dial and the dial itself is very uncommon and was produced in very limited quantities by Rolex.The smooth bezel adds a nice finished look and the original folded link Rolex oyster 7835 Bracelet and 257 end links complete piece.

This unique and somewhat Rare piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection and would provide a classic feel while bringing a unique look while one the wrist. This specific example just received a complete overhaul and is running flawlessly!

CASE & BRACELET

The case has been previously polished but retains full thick lugs and is in fantastic condition. The original Rolex folded 7835 oyster bracelet and 275 end links are era correct and shows very minimal stretch and is in over all good condition

DIAL & HANDS

The original and Rare radial dial has gained some patina as have the hands. The tritium lume dots at the end of the markers have some lume degradation but the dial is in vintage and un touched condition which adds to the vintage charm and originality of this specific Ref 1501.
