In the 1960s and 1970s, Seiko produced a variety of affordable Automatic Chronograph watches. Seiko’s first Automatic Chronograph caliber was the 6139, which was available in several models, in a variety of colorways. The movement has a 30-minute register at the 6 o’clock subdial, with start/stop and reset pushers.
During the height of his fame, Bruce Lee was known to wear at 6139-6010. Choosing to wear an Automatic Chronograph seems to make sense for someone on a movie set filming and timing precise choreographed fight scenes.

CASE & Bracelet
This attractive case shows honest use and appears to have been polished in the past while retaining its original chamfers. The case retains its original crown and pushers. The blue interior bezel exhibits light wear, which is common for tis age. The case back retains its original engravings in clear and visible condition. It comes with a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The striking blue dial is in good vintage condition with minimals signs of age. All lume plots are bright white and fully intact when inspected under U.V. light, showing no signs of age. The original cigarette style hands remain in excellent condition, under U.V. light inspection both hands retain original lume, however, the minute hand has been previously partially repaired. The red sub-dial hand and Chronograph hand contrast the dial perfectly and exhibit moderate chipping of the enamel. Both day and Date wheels are in excellent condition. All sliver indices, day window, and Date window are in excellent condition, showing very minimal signs of age.
