1950s Patek Philippe Ref. 2481 ‘KING SIZE’ 18k Yellow Gold

There is the saying that “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.” and we think this couldn’t be truer especially with Patek Philippe references such as this Rare and sought-after Patek Philippe 2481.  

Nicked named the “King Size” due to the then oversized 37mm case, this  Patek Philippe 2481 is in immaculate Unpolished condition.  The distinctive and very sharp curved step-down lugs are free from any blemishing and have not been polished. The mechanical Manual Winding Patek Philippe caliber 27SC movement is rhodium-plated, with fausses-côtes embellishment. It’s stamped with the quality Mark of Geneva, and it’s constructed with 18 jewels, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, a self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, and a micrometer regulator.

This Patek is classic and timeless, this would be a great addition to a collection lacking a formal Dress watch. This Timepiece would pair great with a tuxedo or suit as it would fit perfectly under the coat sleeve and is simple yet ultimately refined.

The original brushed finish silver dial is free of any blemishing or marks and is absolutely flawless. The hour markers and minute track are fully intact and also in flawless condition. The non-luminous dauphine hands are in stunning and are free from any corrosion or blemishes.
